Dear Tillotson Families,
We have officially made it to the end of the 2025-2026 School Year, and what a successful year it has been! Please continue reading to recap some highlights and what’s in store to come.
Tillotson is Growing
During the past year, Tillotson has supported 17 new students and hired 9 additional staff members!
In November 2024, Tillotson unveiled our new playground in collaboration with Whitehall Borough.
With your support, we were able to offer 8 field trips (National Aviary, Bynam Theater, Century Square Cinemas, and more) and 9 assemblies (Azure Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, and more) or celebrations (Day of Giving, Holiday T.A.G.s, Polar Pop, and more) for our students.
We also were able to hold 6 different after-school activities (Bingo, Basketball, and our Golf Outing to name a few!).
Building Bridges
Tillotson has been very fortunate to have 20 local partnerships this year! If you know of any businesses that could use our student volunteers or who would like to come to the school to teach our youth something new, please let us know!
Recent Happenings
May has been full of year-end activities! Take a look below at some of the fun learning experiences we’ve had:
May 5 through 9 was Staff Appreciation Week! Every employee who makes Tillotson such a welcoming place was treated to food, gifts, and prizes!
May 11 through 16 was Senior Week! Our twelfth-grade students chose the topics – check out our social media page for all of the pictures!
May 16 was our High School Prom. This year’s theme was An Enchanted Evening!
May 27 through 30 was another celebration for our senior class, with a field trip to Full Throttle, Red Robin, and a picnic at South Park. They were also treated to breakfast served by administration!

June 3 – Senior Graduation and Last Day of School for Students
June 16 – First Day of ESY (Extended School Year)
